The Australian International Sourcing Fair is Australia's only dedicated sourcing trade fair, it is a business platform connecting international manufacturers with Australian brands and buyers across the fashion and textile product categories. What is happening at the Fair?

Australian International Sourcing Fair

AISF will be returning to Melbourne from 18 - 20 November 2014 to showcase a range of products in fashion and textiles. Attracting hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors, Australian International Sourcing Fair incorporates the co-located China Clothing and Textiles Expo as well as a range of specialty feature areas.

Who can attend? (Conditions of entry)

The Australian International Sourcing Fair is a free trade only event. Entry is restricted to bona fide members of the fashion, textiles, homewares, sporting goods and floor coverings industries and over the age of 16.

Some examples of who can attend: Wholesalers, importers, suppliers, retail chain stores, private brands, agents, manufacturers and distributors.

Business ID may be required upon entry eg. Business card, letterhead, payslip or company documentation containing your company ABN (this could be a company bill, company order, company registration certificate). You may also be asked for personal identification such as a drivers licence to substantiate your identification. All visitors must be able to provide proof they either work or operate the company used in registration.

Those not involved in a relevant industry will not be admitted. Selling or promotion of products/services to exhibitors is not permitted. No photography or sketching permitted. Students will not be registered. Visitors failing to abide may be asked to leave the venue.

The Organiser reserves the right at their discretion to deny or withdraw access to non-approved persons.

How much does it cost to attend?

Once your registration has been accepted and confirmed with an E-ticket attendance is FREE.

Do I need to register for the Event?

Yes all trade visitors must register.

You can register onsite when you arrive, however to avoid queues we recommend you pre-register. This will also ensure you receive approval prior to attending and receive a registration E-ticket for easy entry.

NOTE: When registering all required fields with full company details must be entered ie. Company address, not personal address.

What happens when I register? (E-ticket)

You will receive a subject to approval email confirming your registration is being processed. The Organiser will then send an email confirming whether your registration has been successful. If your application is successful you will receive an E-ticket, to be printed and taken to the event. Please note your registration must be approved by the Organiser before your booking is confirmed.

When you present your E-ticket at the event you will receive a visitor access card. No visitor access cards will be posted in the mail. Visitor access cards from previous years are not valid.

All emails will be sent to you from info@tradevent.com.au

If you don't have an email address you will need to collect your visitor access card from the registration counter at the event. Business identification will be required. You will not be required to complete another registration form.

Note: The Organiser reserves the right to cancel invalid registrations to ensure that entry is limited to bona fide trade visitors.

What happens if I have deleted or forgotten my E-ticket?

If you have deleted your E-ticket it can be resent. Please phone our visitor hotline on 1300 656 184.

If you have forgotten your E-ticket please advise the onsite registration staff and they will be able to assist you. Your details will be recorded on the database, so you won’t have to complete another registration form.

Can I check or update my registration details?

Yes. If you want to check what details have been registered or update any details give us a call on 1300 656 184. Alternatively your registration details can be changed at the event at the onsite registration desk located near the entrance. You won't need to complete another registration form, simply present your business identification.

How do I book in for seminars if I've already registered?

Give us a call on 1300 656 184, alternatively you are welcome to join the seminars onsite for free without pre-registering.

Colleagues can be added on the registration form when you are registering yourself, alternatively give us a call to register on 1300 656 184.

Can I still attend if I have not registered before arriving?

Yes you are welcome to register at the onsite registration desk at the entrance to Australia's International Sourcing Fair. However we recommend pre-registering to save you time. All registrations will require business identification.

Can students attend?

Final year Tertiary or TAFE students currently enrolled in a relevant course may attend. Attendance is accepted on the final day, provided an appropriate student identification card is presented at the registration desk. Students cannot register online to attend.

Any groups larger than six students must apply in writing to the Organiser for approval. Details must include institution, course, number of students and preferred attendance time. Email: sourcing@informa.com

Can I bring my family or guests to have a look?

Trade registered attendees are entitled to bring along ONE accompanying guest. Guests are NOT to be registered in any circumstance. An accompanying guest pass must be collected from the registration desk at the event. Guest passes are not available prior to attendance. Guests must be accompanied by their trade visitor at all times.

Children under 16 may attend if accompanied by an adult at all times. There are no child minding facilities available at the venue. Children must not be registered; children do not need to obtain a guest pass.

If your guest qualifies as a trade visitor, registration is recommended.

Do I need a Visa to visit Australia?

Most international visitors to Australia will require a Visa to enter the country. For Government details on Visas visit Australian Government Immigration site at www.immi.gov.au. Remember if you need to make a Visa Application make sure you do so well in advance as there is usually a processing period involved.
